Adoption Assistance
Littelfuse recognizes the importance of work/life balance by helping with the expenses involved in adoption.
The Adoption Assistance benefit reimburses employees for all or a portion of the cost of adopting an eligible child — up to $10,000 per child, or $20,000 for siblings within a 12-month period.
Expenses eligible for reimbursement
- Legal fees
- Court fees
- Adoption agency fees, including foreign adoption fees
- Temporary foster care expenses
- Reasonable travel expenses — transportation, meals and lodging — while traveling away from home for the sole purpose of arranging an adoption or bringing the child to the adopting parents
- Medical examination fees for the child, if required
How to get reimbursed
Send the following to the Littelfuse Corporate Human Resources Department:
- A completed Expense Reimbursement Application
- Copies of the notarised or certified placement agreement showing the child’s placement date in your home, and original receipts for all covered expenses
