Parental Leave
Paid time off to care for and bond with a newborn child or newly adopted minor child.
Both mothers and fathers are eligible for up to six consecutive weeks of 100% paid parental leave. Pay is based on your weekly base rate, not including overtime or supplemental pay.
Two deadlines to know. You must request and use parental leave within the first 12 calendar months of the birth or adoption. Contact your supervisor and your HR representative at least 30 days in advance of the qualifying event.
